Team Match

There will be a team match Sunday afternoon. The dances will be Waltz, Cha Cha, Tango and Swing/Jive. Couples may dance American Style or International Style in each dance. A team will consist of four couples, comprised of eight distinct individuals. Each team will select a couple for each dance; each couple will dance the same dance in every round. The team match will not count towards a competitor's four entries on the entry package.

Entry Fees

Competitors must purchase a competitors' pass; they will receive free entry into the ballroom for the sessions in which they are competing. Admission at other times requires purchase of a spectator ticket.

Competitor entry fees are as follows, and are per competitor, not per couple:

Competitor Category

Early-Bird Cost (entries before midnight, Sat. 1/30/10)

Regular Cost (entries after midnight, Sat. 1/30/10)

Additional Events* (per event)

Adults

$65

$80

$20

Students (college and younger)**

$35

$45

$15

* Each competitor may enter up to four (4) events for his or her initial entry fee. Note: each level is considered one event, so if a competitor enters Bronze Latin and Silver Latin that is considered two events (although it will total 5 dances, since there are 2 dances in Bronze and 3 dances in SIlver). Additional events beyond the initial four may be purchased at the rates listed above.

** Students: when picking up your registration packet at the competition, please bring your student ID and registration card for the current semester.

No entries will be accepted after 11:59pm February 20, 2010.

Note that Senior III events may be merged with Senior II events if time is a factor.

The Junior and Youth age categories have been combined for the Syllabus events.  In order to enter those events in the registration system, select the “Jr. Yth.” Age category.

If you do not wish to enter online, please download a printable entry form here and mail with a check to the address shown on the form.

Paid registrations canceled prior to January 23, 2010, will be refunded in full. Cancellations from January 23 to February 6, 2010 will be charged a 10% processing fee. No refunds will be given after February 6, 2010.

Tickets and Payment

Some people have trouble with the O2CM system. Once you have created an account and logged in:

1) Create a couple, selecting a leader and a follower.

2) Select each entry you wish to make. This will involve selecting Division, Age, Skill Level and Dances for each entry.

3) Click the "Enter Couple in Selected Event(s)" button after each entry you select.

4) When you are done making your entry selections, click the "Go To Account to review entries, Order Tickets and Pay Entry Fees" button. This will take you to the Account Review page.

5) In Section 2, "Tickets and/or Package Selection," select "Adult Competitor," or "Student Competitor" as appropriate, under "1) Package/Ticket Type." Select your name under "5) Quantity (FOR)." Click the "Add" button. Repeat this for your partner. When you have purchased a package for all competitors on your account the word "Rsvd" will appear next to each name in the list. If it does not, reselect the name and select a package.

6) If you have more than four entries, you will need to add one Extra Entry (under "Package/Ticket Type") for each entry above four, for each competitor (so if you have six entries you will need four Extra Entry "tickets"--two for you and two for your partner, since you each have two extra entries). Your extra entries will show up under Section 3, "Account Details."

7) The "Secure Payment with Authorize.Net" button should be activated in Section 1, and you may then pay by credit card. If you do not wish to pay using credit card, you may mail your payment to:

Note: O2CM is a bit flakey if you leave it idle for some time, so you may need to log back in to be able to accomplish any tasks.
